Molly

Piano, Voice

Molly is a voice and piano teacher at Champaign School of Music. As a child growing up in Tennessee, Molly loved music and was always the loudest singer who sang and played everything on the piano. As a teen, it was her dream to teach and perform music. Molly fell in love with teaching after being given the opportunity to teach a small group of voices in high school. She has taught privately and worked with a choir teaching them to sing in unison and later in 4 voices. Molly loves teaching her students the artistry, technique, and joys of music. Her goal is to make students feel comfortable and confident in the classroom as well as on a stage. She teaches budding musicians to be independent soloists and also versatile artists who can be part of a group. Molly believes the art of music brings the world together and looks forward to being part of that every chance she gets.

“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
