Kassandra is a classical pianist and piano teacher in Champaign who teaches beginner to intermediate piano to children, teens, adults and seniors. She believes that by providing music to the community in ways that are easily accessible, she can share her love of music with others. During her time in college, Kassandra worked closely with composers such as Jim Stephenson and Matthew Maslanka. With her colleagues at Western Illinois University, she is heard in Maslanka's "River of Time" and Stephenson's "Walk Slowly" with recordings of these works available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming services. Her experience with the Illinois Ambassadors of Music tour truly solidified her passion for music and on this tour, she played in London, England; Crans-Montana, Switzerland; Seefeld, Austria; and Rothenburg, Germany. Kassandra completed her Bachelor of Music in Performance at Western Illinois University.
